in training is an individual determination that depends upon the dog’s nature and
the Client’s attitude, determination, and effort to be successful
4. It is agreed by the Client and Trainer the dog shall be individually trained, in
addition to the standard training for manners, sit, stay, return (or touch), to do
work or perform tasks for Client, as follows: (THIS AREA DEFINES SPECIFIC TASKS
DISCUSSED TO PROVIDE FUNCTIONALITY FOR CLIENT AND WILL BE DISCUSSED
PRIOR TO CUSTOMIZING OF CONTRACT ); Client is required to and shall follow the
advice and the instructions of Trainer in order to accomplish the above-mentioned
individual training. Any failure to follow the advice and instructions of Trainer may
cause delay in training the dog the tasks above or may result in a failure of the dog
to perform the tasks above. Because of the variables that are naturally a part of
training a service dog, such as the dog’s nature and, particularly, the Client’s
attitude, determination, and effort to be successful, Trainer cannot guarantee any
result.
5. It is understood and agreed by Client that training for and reinforcement of the
tasks the Client desires the dog to perform as a service animal is a continuing
process for the life of the dog or so long as the dog is performing as a service
animal and that if Client fails to continue in the training for and reinforcement of
the tasks Client desires the dog to perform, as set forth above, it is possible the
dog will not perform the tasks according to the expectations of Client.
6.. It is agreed by Client and Trainer when Trainer believes the dog is ready for the
Client to begin training to handle the dog as a service animal in training, Trainer
will place the dog in service with Client for continued training and on-going
support for the balance of six months from the date this Agreement is executed by
Client and Trainer.
7. It is agreed by Client and Trainer on-going support for that period of time shall
include in-person service appointments and/or remote service appointments and
services by Zoom, telephone, text, and electronic mail to be determined by Trainer
and Client, at which appointments Trainer shall provide services to individually
train the dog to perform the tasks, as set forth above. In addition, Client may
attend with Client’s service dog only, for the life of the dog, Trainer’s Drop In Play
(DIP) sessions, at which the Client may reinforce the tasks Client desires or expects
